Canopy bed for dementia patients with behavioural problems

A canopy bed study was conducted in nursing home the pleyade in the Netherlands. This study was publised in the dutch magazine for medicine by neuropsychologist Dr. P.W. Molleman. Outcome of the study shows that 22 out of 24 patients with behavioural problems reacted very well on the canopy bed. They showed less signs of restlessness and the Pleyade was able to reduce the use of psychotropics and restraints.
