Human Protection mitts are used as a less restrictive alternative solution for patients assessed to be at risk of disrupting life-saving medical treatments (e.g.,chronic tube pulling), patients assessed to be at risk of line pulling, which may prevent monitoring of vital signs, and patients who picking, pulling, scratching, or peeling exacerbates a skin condition, causes self-injury, or compromises wound site integrity.

Human Protection mitts are made of organic fabric which makes the mitts very soft and therefore very comfortable to wear. The netting present in various models is synthetic and filling in all mitts consists out of a polyester fibre. 

This mitt has an inspection opening which allows regular checks without having to remove the mitt. Applying the mitt is extra easy as the arm can be pulled through completely. Afterwards the mitt can be closed with hook and loop fastener.
