During IV procedures the board prevents wrist and ankle from bending. The board can be shaped in different dimensions to give optimal support. The cotton structured surface is very soft. The limboard is comprised of three different materials laminated to each other. The top layer is made of anti-static cross-linked polyolefin foam material. The middle layer is made of hardened, alloyed aluminum, and the lowest layer of the bandage, which contacts with the skin, is combed cotton supported with foam. Connection ribbons and hook and loop fastener enables to fix the wrist or ankle safely.
