The Sleepy - Phototherapy Blanket can be used during the ultraviolet (UV) phototherapy to tuck in the newborn. Scientific research shows that babies are calmer, experience less stress, sleep better and even have less pain from interventions or complications when they are tucked in (B.Sleuwen, 2007). The Sleepy UV Light Blanket is 98.4% translucent, so light therapy is not impeded.
